Kicking For Self Defense?

Kicking can be a great tool when trying to defend yourself. Kicks have more power and range then other strikes, but you do have to practice them a bit more. Just step back, create space, aim and kick your attacker as hard as you can! It is better to target the lower extremities (Ankles, Shins, Knees, Thighs, Groin, Etc.) of your attacker then trying to kick at the head. Why? You could lose your balance or miss your target entirely!!! To learn more about self-defense, kickboxing, or martial arts concepts call us. We will get you started right!
